The Saga of Frances the Bank-Teller, In Which Everyone Dies At Least Once

or, Greek Tragedy meets Classic Western Crime Drama.

Frances the bank teller sits waiting for customers, unaware that, as she prepares for another exciting day of entering figures into her account-book, evil lurks in the shadows.

But these are no ordinary back robbers. These are Frank and Joe, famed outlaws, feared by all, etc etc. Note the demented red eyes. (Not to be confused with those Hardy chaps, who insist on being disgustingly prejudiced against people of the criminal persuasion.)

"Stick 'em up!" says Frank, putting his patented Fearsome Glare to good use.

"Certainly not!" says Frances.

Great violence ensues. Joe gets killed in the crossfire. Frank doesn't even notice. (Poor Joe.)

"Noooooo!" shrieks Frances, as the bullet enters her chest.

With her hand on her heart, with one valiant last breath, she expires, still pledged to protect her town's currency. Alas! Her efforts were in vain.

Frank gathers up the loot, stepping over his partner's dead body, and exits the bank. But—!

Summoning all her remaining mad banker skillz, Frances rises from the dead (temporarily). She grabs her gun and her cattle prod and deals Frank a fearsome blow over the head.

Frank dies, and the world is rid of evil. Finally. It's about time. (We're going for the Enjolras-dead-on-the-barricade look here, 'kay?)

The End.

Oh, one of my sisters wants to know whether the story was thought out before or during/after the pictures were taken?

  4. Valia's sister - it was a play they were putting on, and I kept interrupting the rehearsal to take pictures. So the story came first but it was improvised slightly as it went along. Ok, it was improvised a lot. :P

  5. That_was_hilarious. :) My kids used to take over the spare room. Once, they turned it into "Box Town." Each box was a different building in town, and they even had a place for the hobos. :D It's all on video . . . and the dirt from death falls is on the walls.
